What is a Meditation Instructor (MI)?
We assign MIs as staff to our courses and programs so that each participant has the opportunity to interact directly with someone who is experienced and knowledgeable about the view, teachings and practices of this lineage. Each Dharma Ocean MI has gone through extensive training and practice. MIs can me reached vis the 'Ask an MI' section within each unit. Private questions for MIs can be directed to [email protected].
Who is my Meditation Instructor (MI)?
This course is different from previous courses in that the Mis will be serving the entire community and not hosting individual groups. You can ask questions of the MIs vis the 'Ask an MI' section within each unit. Skye will be hosting regular Zoom gatherings in lieu of the MI gatherings. See the Live Gathering page for the schedule.
How do I download the audio files?
All audio will be located in the right column under Downloads. To download, click on the title of the audio for that particular teaching. At the end of this online course, a zip archive of all audio will be provided.
Can I download audio files to my iPhone/iPad?
You may use your iPhone and/or iPad to view the videos in the course, and to stream the course audio. Unfortunately, you cannot download audio files directly to your iPhone/iPad. Instead, you’ll need download the files to a desktop or laptop computer first, and then transfer those files to your mobile device via iTunes. Visit Apple to learn more.
Will Community Gatherings be recorded?
All Community Gatherings for this course will be recorded and posted to the website. If you are not able to be at your computer during the live portion, you will be able to access the recorded version at your own convenience.
How do I convert Mountain Time (MST/MDT) to my local time zone?
The Community Gatherings for this course are scheduled according to Mountain Time (MST/MDT). There are many time zone converters available online. You might try this Time Zone Converter or check out the World Clock. You could also simply add Denver or Boulder to your desktop or mobile device clocks.
When and where can I participate in the Community Gatherings?
Visit the Community Gatherings page to see the schedule of upcoming broadcasts with links and call-in information. Recordings of the Community Gatherings will be uploaded to this page within 48 hours of the live broadcast.

How do I change my password?
You can reset your password in your account settings by clicking the grey circular avatar icon in the upper right of the window. Click settings from the dropdown menu. Here you can change your password, update your profile image, and adjust email settings.
If you lose access to your account please click "Forgot Password" beneath the login at https://online.dharmaocean.org/login.
How do change my profile picture?
You can upload a profile picture which will appear next to your name in the Open Discussion Areas. To upload a profile image, click on the profile icon at the top right corner of the menu, then click Settings. From the settings page, click the Change Avatar button and upload an image from your device.
